Competition Corner

It is not uncommon for our dancers to enjoy themselves so much that it becomes more than just a weekly recreational activity for them and they develop the desire to take it more seriously. For these students, we offer the chance to audition for our award-winning competition classes and participate in regional and national talent competitions. This opportunity improves students' awareness of technique, synchronization, emotion and stage presence, while at the same time helping them to develop self-confidence and self-esteem. Although participation in competition classes requires a great deal of dedication, we strive to promote good sportsmanship and do not possess the "win at all cost" attitude that is found at some dance schools.
